A world premiere for Italy, The Longines Avigation BigEye, a re-edition of a 1930s chronograph, is a tribute to the golden age of aviation and now comes in a titanium version with a petrol blue dial. Characterised by the legibility of its dial and its oversized chronograph minute counter (hence the name BigEye), this timepiece is in the grand tradition of pilot's watches. It is equipped with a self-winding mechanical chronograph movement, calibre L688 (based on ETA A08.L01), with silicon balance spring, which benefits from a 5-year warranty. The 41 mm titanium case is fitted with a sapphire crystal box with multi-layered anti-reflective treatment on both sides and a screw-down case back. The new declination is completed by a brown natural leather strap with a vintage look. The Longines Legend Diver Watch, for its part, is the emblematic watch of the winged hourglass brand's Heritage segment, and is now available in new coloured variants. These creations, heirs to one of the first diver's watches in Longines' history, adopt the colours blue or brown and feature a brand new dial. The latest versions of the Longines Legend Diver Watch retain the spirit and essential lines of the original timepiece, but benefit from all of Longines' watchmaking expertise. The latest additions to the collection adopt a sapphire crystal box, two screw-down crowns (one for adjusting the rotating flange and the other for winding the movement and setting the time and date) and a screw-down caseback, guaranteeing water-resistance to 300 metres. The 42 mm steel case houses a self-winding mechanical movement with silicon balance spring, calibre L888.5 (based on ETA A31.L11). The dial, available in the new shades of blue or shaded brown, features luminescent hands, indices interrupted by small squares that are also luminescent, and Arabic numerals underlined by rectangles of Super-LumiNova, guaranteeing excellent legibility: features reminiscent of the discipline for which the watch was originally intended. The blue strap in structured leather or brown leather harmoniously echoes the colours of the dial. The new Longines Legend Diver Watch models come with a 5-year warranty.
