Called LMX, the new MB&F watch revisits and accentuates the most striking features of the first Legacy Machine, whose tenth anniversary it is. Visible under the sapphire dome are two white lacquered dials, each with its own hour and minute display, inclined (unlike the first Legacy Machine) thanks to a system of conical gears reminiscent of the more recent LM FlyingT and LM Thunderdome. Above the dials, floats the flying balance that has become the leitmotif of the collection, enhanced by replacing the previous regulating screws with inertial masses. Last, but not least, is the vertical power reserve indicator, a world first for the LM1, which has been further developed: in the LMX, it is hemispherical, three-dimensional and the entire display rotates, allowing the wearer to choose between the day of the week or the numerical scales, counting down the 7-day power reserve. Its movement is new, mechanical with manual winding, the eighth in the Legacy Machine collection in 10 years, housed in a red gold or titanium case and visible both through the dial and from the back: turning the watch upside down reveals the three barrels, the gold bezels and numerous bridges with mirror anglage, internal angles and côtes de Geneve sunray motifs. Prices: titanium version, limited edition of 33 (CHF 98,000 + VAT); red gold version, limited edition of 18 (CHF 112,000 + VAT).
