For a few years now Leica is consolidating its presence in the watch industry, with the same seriousness and care with which it has become a leading brand in photography. Based on the ZM 11, a solotempo equipped with a mechanical movement signed Chronode, thea Casa launches the ZM 12 in a more compact 39 mm version, thus 2 mm smaller of its predecessor.

In the new model, as in the ZM 11, the design is inspired by the play of light and shadow, particularly on the dial. The latter is engraved horizontally, revealing an underlying layer in four new colours: Blue Orange, Silver Grey, Olive Black and Chocolate Black. The effect is similar to light passing through a Venetian blind photographed at different times of day, creating ever-changing effects depending on the angle of the wrist.
