The new generation consolidates its membership in the brand's universe of professional watches by completely redesigning the case, with straight sides, integrating the crown protection straps. The Oyster bracelet has been redesigned in terms of its proportions and, for the first time, is equipped with an Oysterlock safety clasp. It improves legibility with the addition of a "0" in front of the "5" on the minute scale, which also benefits from a more harmonious dial, which benefits from a Chromalight display optimised in the dark: the hands and the triangular index at 12 o'clock are coated with a new luminescent substance ensuring prolonged emission intensity. In the course of updating the movements with all the technical evolutions developed by Rolex, the calibre is now the 3230, with Chronergy escapement and 70-hour power reserve.
Also new in 2022 are the Day-Date 40 in a platinum version with a knurled bezel and the Yacth-Master 42 for the first time in yellow gold. New dials for the Datejust 31 with a delicate floral motif, available in various finishes and colours. While the Yacht-Master-40 sports a bezel set with diamonds and sapphires in shades of blue, silver and pink.
