Fifty years later, Le Forban Sécurité Mer, a brand known for having equipped the French navy in the past, returns. The new Brestoise model pays tribute to the very first watch presented in 1969, of which it faithfully preserves certain design features, such as the date window, in the shape of a trapezium, the "lollipop" seconds hand, with its characteristic round tip, and the double-domed sapphire crystal. With a steel case that is water-resistant to 15 atmospheres and a unidirectional rotating bezel in aluminium, it is decorated on the back with a drawing of a rudder and is animated by a Miyota 8215 automatic movement. It uses a soft and light 'Tropic' style silicon strap. On sale for 490 euros.
