Wyler Vetta celebrated a double anniversary last year: 125 years since the birth of founder Paul Wyler and 90 years since the famous event in 1931, when one of the company's watches was thrown from the Eiffel Tower to demonstrate (successfully) its robustness. Also in 2021, a new Business Unit dedicated to the management of Wyler Vetta will be created, headed by Marcello Binda with the collaboration of the well-known watch designer Fulvio Locci. Among the new models launched as part of this new direction for the Maison is the Dynawind, available in two versions, with a 39 mm matt steel case and quartz movement or with a 42 mm case and automatic movement. The case itself is also available gold-plated, rose-coloured or blackened (the latter finish is only available for the automatic model). The quartz Dynawind (which is animated by the Ronda 515 calibre, and thus Swiss Made) is distinguished by the presence, on the dial, of Arabic numeral hour markers in addition to the geometric ones (as well as by the absence of the "Automatic" inscription at 6 o'clock, below the name of the collection), while on that of the automatic, the Arabic numeral markers appear only at the quarters. Both models, in any case, are equipped with luminescent hands and hour markers, a date window at 3 o'clock and a domed hesalite crystal. The automatic model is driven by the Sellita calibre SW200 (26 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 38-hour power reserve), which is, of course, self-winding mechanical. All Dynawind models come with two straps, one leather and a second NATO type. Finally, a mention of the water-resistance figure, which is 3 atmospheres for the automatic models and 5 for the quartz models.
