On the Little Lange 1 Moon Phase, another beautiful new 2021 timepiece from A. Lange & Söhne, the eye is drawn to the solid silver dial coated with a thin layer of dark blue aventurine, whose sparkling copper particles evoke the starry night sky. The Roman numerals at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock and the star-shaped hour markers are in rhodium-plated gold, as are the hands. The dark tone of the dial extends to the Big Date, which advances one day at a time thanks to a corrector between 10 and 11 o'clock on the case middle, and the white gold moon disc with its 628 stars. The moon phase display can be easily and quickly adjusted at any time via the corrector between 7 and 8 o'clock. The 36.8-millimetre white gold case comes with a dark blue polished leather strap with sparkling pigments. In a second variant, 56 brilliant-cut diamonds adorn the bezel. At the heart of the watch is the hand-wound IWC-manufactured L121.2 calibre, which shows through the sapphire-glass back the three-quarter plate in natural nickel-silver decorated with Glashütte's band-polishing, the hand-engraved balance bridge and the gold bezels secured with blue steel screws. The price ranges from 43,900 euros (version without diamonds) to 55,300 euros (version with diamonds).
