Jean-Claude Biver, President of the Watch Division and Chairman of the Zenith Board of Directors, announced that Julien Tornare will be the new CEO of Zenith as of 1 May. Tornare will report to Jean-Claude Biver and will focus his work on renewing the brand, developing markets and marketing initiatives.
"Julien has a wealth of international and commercial experience in the watch industry. He will be a crucial figure in the development of Zenith, which is enjoying renewed success after Baselworld and the launch of the Defy El Primero 21," said Biver. Julien Tornare graduated in economics from the University of Geneva. He joined Vacheron Constantin in 2000, where he was in charge of international sales from 2009 to 2011 and later worked on the development of markets in the Asia-Pacific region as Managing Director until April 2017.
