Jaeger-LeCoultre - Inauguration in Milan

Yesterday, 15 December, the first Italian Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique was officially opened at Via Montenapoleone 1 in Milan. The X hour was struck at 6.33 p.m., in honour of the date on which the manufacture was founded, 1833 to be precise. As the minute repeater, one of the finest and most prestigious of watchmaking complications, chimed, Claudio Angè, Director of Jaeger-LeCoultre Italia, with Adriano Galliani, CEO and Vice-President of AC Milan, and actress Cristiana Capotondi, cut the ribbon, opening the doors of the first Jaeger-LeCoultre space in Italy to enthusiasts and collectors of haute horlogerie. The Grande Reverso 1931 Rouge was also unveiled for the occasion: reinterpreting the red dial of the 1930s, the timepiece pays tribute to one of the rarest and most sought-after of the historical Reverso models and will be distributed exclusively in the brand's boutiques. For the month of December, this very watch, valued at € 6,800 to the public, and, for the first time in Italy, the Gyrotourbillon Nr 1 in 18-carat rose gold, a limited series of 28 pieces, boutiques special edition, worth more than € 290,000, will be on display.
