For the 85th anniversary of the Reverso Jaeger-LeCoultre offers a refined version of the Gyrotourbillon in a platinum case. First of all, it should be noted that both the width of the case and its thickness have been reduced by 30%, while the second side displays both the second time zone (with day/night indicator) and the hand-wound mechanical Calibre 179, finely engraved by Jaeger-LeCoultre's master watchmakers. What particularly catches the eye is the bi-axial flying tourbillon, visible at 6 o'clock, whose two cages perform one external rotation in one minute and one internal rotation in 12.6 seconds. At 12 o'clock on the front we find off-centre hours and minutes, with a day/night indicator at 11 o'clock. It is produced in a limited edition of just 75 pieces.
Price: 330,000 euro.
