At the inauguration of the Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique on Place Vendôme in Paris last November, the Maison presented its new Duomètre Unique Travel Time, the eagerly awaited star of the next Sihh to be held in January in Geneva. The first worldtime with independent minutes, the watch is characterised by the use of two distinct mechanisms synchronised by a single regulating organ. One set of wheels is dedicated to local time, the other to the second time zone. In a limited edition of 100 pieces, it is offered with a white gold case housing the hand-assembled and hand-decorated manual calibre 383. The silvered dial offers excellent legibility: at 2 o'clock is the home time dial, at 10 o'clock the local time dial with the jumping hour window. Underneath the two dials are the affixes of the two power reserves (equal to 50 hours each). The day/night indicator and hour disc are arranged at 6 o'clock, around a globe with respect to which the time zones are indicated.
