The new Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater encapsulates two central elements in the tradition of the House of Le Sentier, namely its great mastery in the manufacture of chiming watches and the history of the famous Reverso. With its typically Art Deco style and famous reversible case, the Reverso is one of the most recognisable wristwatches in the world. The art of striking mechanisms signed Jaeger-LeCoultre dates back to 1833, the year of the Manufacture's foundation, and is today more established than ever thanks to the more than 200 calibres with chime signed by the House. The birth in the 1990s of the first Reverso with minute repeater coincided with the redefinition of sound quality standards by Jaeger-LeCoultre's designers and engineers, who exploited new technologies in the service of this noble watch type. A symbol of technical progress thanks to the presence of a silent chime regulator, a new-generation gong and Jaeger-LeCoultre patented trébuchet hammers, the new Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater is powered by an updated version of Calibre 944, a movement entirely conceived, designed and produced in the Manufacture's workshops. The timepiece is characterised by the presence of a dial on both the first and second sides of the case, which, while indicating the same time and both displaying the beautiful decorations of the movement and the great craftsmanship that distinguishes the work of the Manufacture's master watchmakers, differ in their character, one being more sober and essential, and the other more exuberant. Produced in a limited edition of only 10 pieces, this exclusive new model from Jaeger-LeCoultre adopts a pink gold case measuring 51.1 x 31 mm, inside which is housed the aforementioned Calibre 944 (348 components, 35 jewels 21,600 vib/h, 4.95 mm thick, double barrel), a hand-wound mechanical movement with a 35-hour power reserve.
