Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrates 60 years of Memovox

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Memovox, Jaeger-LeCoultre's first automatic watch with alarm, the brand is presenting a special edition, inspired by the design of a 1970s model (Memovox "Snowdrop"). The Master Memovox Boutique Edition has a blue, almost grey dial with a soleil decoration on the inside and opaline on the outside. The innermost disc rotates via the crown at 2 o'clock (anticlockwise) to set the alarm indicated by a triangular index. The case is in steel and the movement is the JLC 956 automatic calibre. The case back is engraved with the 'Control 1000 Hour' symbol indicating that the watch has passed 1,000 hours of rigorous running and reliability tests. The strap is made of deep blue 'Trieste' woven cotton with a calfskin lining. It is a boutique exclusive, limited to 500 pieces.
