Last night, the grand opening ceremony of the 64th Venice International Film Festival took place. The news is of horological importance not only because on the wrist of the godmother of this edition, Ambra Angiolini, shone the latest jewellery creation from Jaeger-LeCoultre: the Joallerie 101 manchette in white gold, diamonds and onyx. One of the highlights of the evening, in fact, was the auction organised by the Auction House Antiquorum and Jaeger-LeCoultre, in support of the Biennale di Venezia film restoration fund.
A unique Reverso series is up for auction: 6 pieces personalised with the autographs of famous stars such as Sergio Castellitto, Catherine Deneuve, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Josh Hartnett, Valentino Rossi and Oliver Stone.
