Yesterday, under the banner of the first Christmas shopping spree, with crowds of people and onlookers flocking to the shop windows at number 1 Via Montenapoleone in Milan, the first official weekend of the very first Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique in Italy was celebrated with a display of the Swiss watchmaker's greatest haute horlogerie pieces: the highest complications such as the Gyrotourbillon 1 in pink gold, a limited boutique edition, or the Master Grande Complication, milestones in the history of this important sector. The new boutique was conceived with all the care and understated style typical of the brand in order to recreate the serene and peaceful atmosphere of the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland, the cradle of inspiration for the craftsmen of the time. The space harmoniously blends the best of contemporary design and materials with the symmetry, refined lines and pure spirit of the Art Deco period, during which Jaeger-LeCoultre's creativity gave life to its Icon, the legendary Reverso, which celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. With the opening of the first Italian boutique, the number of points of reference for collectors and lovers of haute horlogerie has risen to 44.
