On 4 September, Jaeger-LeCoultre, the official partner of the Venice International Film Festival for the 14th consecutive year, brought together major film personalities at the Venice Arsenal for a gala dinner dedicated to the art of filmmaking, staging a retrospective on the brand's 185th anniversary. Among the guests present were David Cronenberg, Henry Cavill, Dakota Fanning, Daniel Brühl, Diego Luna, Stefano Accorsi, Fala Chen and Ming Dao.
To pay tribute to the work of director David Cronenberg, author of more than 50 films, who was awarded the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, Catherine Rénier, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, and actress Sarah Gadon presented him with a Reverso Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement personalised with the engraving of a lion, the symbol of Venice.
Friends of the brand Daniel Brühl, Henry Cavill, Diego Luna and Stefano Accorsi wore watches from the Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris collection, which is 50 years old this year. David Cronenberg wore the Polaris Date.
