The Schaffhausen-based company presents new versions of one of the most iconic models in its production, the Portuguese, redesigning the entire collection. One of the highlights is the model with a 40.4-mm case (Reff. IW358303, IW358304, IW358305 and IW358306) which is based in design on 1930's Ref. 352, with the hours and minutes in the centre and the small seconds at 6 o'clock. Versions with a steel case are combined with a silver-plated (with blue or gold-plated hands and indices) or blue dial; a version with an 18-carat rose gold case is also available. The movement (visible from the case back) is the IWC-manufactured 82200 calibre (31 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 60-hour power reserve), with a Pellaton ceramic automatic winding system. The 42.3-mm case variants are available in steel with a burgundy dial or in 18-carat rose gold with a blue dial (Boutique Edition). On the latter, in both cases there is a small seconds display (at 9 o'clock), a date window (at 6 o'clock) and the power reserve, which is an impressive 7 days thanks to the use of a double barrel. The movement used is the IWC-manufactured 52010 calibre (31 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour), again with a ceramic Pellaton automatic winding system and visible through the sapphire-glass porthole in the case back.
