The unique Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar Edition "Le Petit Prince" in platinum (ref. IW502801) made by IWC was auctioned yesterday, 12 November, at Sotheby's in Geneva. The piece went for 173,000 Swiss francs and was sold together with a reprint of the original first edition in English entitled "The Little Prince" and a reproduction of the original manuscript, in French, of "Le Petit Prince". With the proceeds, together with the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation, IWC will support the construction of a school with a library in Cambodia to help combat illiteracy.
