Vintage inspiration

Timex presents the Marlin collection, whose design is inspired by a model launched by the company in the 1950s.

The American manufacturer presents a new version of the famous and historic Marlin, a collection launched when the well-known TV series "Timex All Star Jazz Show" was broadcast in New York in the late 1950s. It was a musical programme that featured some of the most famous names in the jazz music scene at the time.

The revival of Timex's Marlin collection comes to life by combining an essential design with a hand-wound mechanical calibre. The 34 mm steel case surrounds a white sunray dial with a retro look, emphasised above all by the "boxed" Arabic numerals in yellow gold on a black background set at the quarters. At 12 o'clock is the Timex logo, while the other indexes are bar-shaped. The domed acrylic crystal completes the vintage look of this timepiece. The Timex Marlin is paired with a matt black leather strap, combined with a personalised steel pin buckle. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 3 atmospheres.
