New at the 2009 edition of SIHH, currently taking place in Geneva, is the Aquatimer Deep Two, the flagship model of the latest Aquatimer collection from IWC. The main prerogative of this diver's watch is the mechanical depth gauge that functions completely independently and autonomously of the movement, an automatic 30110 calibre with central seconds, date and 40-hour power reserve. The task of this professional instrument is to indicate the actual depth, via a blue hand, and the maximum depth reached (5 atmospheres), via a red hand. The dimensions of the steel case of the new IWC model are generous: its diameter is 46 millimetres and its thickness 15.5 millimetres.
