Born during the Cannes Film Festival in 2000, the project for a watch collection Chopard in support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, established in 1993, bears witness to the strong friendship between the well-known British singer and the brand's Co-President Caroline Gruosi Scheufele. The launch of the new 2008 line of timepieces will be celebrated with a concert by Elton John on 7 December in Moscow. On sale exclusively at Chopard boutiques, this new chronograph with its pink gold case, white mother-of-pearl dial, black, brown or pink crocodile strap, and back engraved with the singer's signature, is being produced in a limited series of 2,000 pieces.
