Hublot has chosen the Classic Fusion in a chronograph version with a 42 mm 18-carat yellow gold case for this exclusive collaboration with Treccani. This model, available in only 35 pieces, is on sale through Treccani channels. The inscription in Roman numerals "XXXV" on the bezel (fixed with titanium screws with an "H" shaped head) is intended to emphasise the strictly limited production of this watch. The progressive numbering of the timepiece is instead engraved on the caseback, closed with 6 titanium screws and fitted with a sapphire crystal porthole that opens to reveal the HUB1153 calibre (diameter 25.6 mm, thickness 3.6 mm, 21 jewels, 28,800 A/h), which guarantees a 42-hour power reserve. On the black dial with no hourmarkers (a tribute to the first model launched by Hublot in 1980, as well as the 40th anniversary model in 2020 and the first one made for Treccani in 2021), the Treccani logo stands out at 12 o'clock, the hands are all in gold and the counters are dedicated to the chrono minutes (at 9 o'clock) and continuous seconds (at 3 o'clock). At 6 o'clock is the date window, while the chrono seconds find their place in the centre. The watch is combined with a black calfskin strap (with leather that recalls that used to cover and bind the covers of the Italian Encyclopaedia) with a rubber lining, and is fitted with an 18-carat yellow gold folding clasp.
