In Los Angeles, at the historic Mack Sennett Studios in the Silver Lake district, Hublot and Shepard Fairey, graphic designer, activist and illustrator, but above all an American contemporary street art artist whose work has inspired OBEY Clothing, have made their collaboration official: the artist is in fact the brand's new official ambassador. For the occasion, the Big Bang Meca-10 Shepard Fairey was presented, the fruit of the partnership, the new chapter in the "Hublot Loves Art" series.
"Hublot is a mix of craftsmanship and very fine execution, the same goes for my art: I do whatever it takes to create an image that I think is important to create. What's amazing about working with Hublot is the freedom... they told me we can try anything you want; they were very open to anything I wanted to experiment with and they take great pride in pushing the boundaries of technique.
