There was also a piece of Italy on stage at the Hippodrome in Milan during Kiss' farewell concert on 2 July. Amidst chains and studs, Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and the other members of the legendary band sported their GTO Grimoldi Edizione Speciale, made for the tour by the Milanese brand. Kiss, big fans of eccentric watches, have been friends of the Grimoldi brothers for years and every time they pass through Milan they pay a visit to the shop in Piazza Duomo. The special edition has a black, oval and ergonomic 57.95mm x 36.40mm steel case, ETA 2824 mechanical self-winding movement, skeleton dial with suspended markers and black or fluo green strap. The Kiss watches are one-off pieces, but it is possible that a limited edition will be made for sale to the public in the future.
