A stylistic evolution of the Balancier S, the Balancier S² employs a new 46.5 mm case (as opposed to the 45 mm of the Balancier S) made of titanium and combined with a new polished and satin-finished bezel. Also new is the dial, which comes in two shades, either charcoal grey or light grey. Both of these versions will be produced in a limited edition, amounting to 88 pieces for the charcoal grey variant (in the measure of 22 watches produced annually between 2022 and 2025) and 64 pieces for the one with the light grey dial, which again will be produced over a period of four years. On the dial itself, of note are the new geometric indices, which seem to float in the void, as well as the central double-arched titanium bridge, which is now skeletonised. The balance bridge is also skeletonised, and the brand's signature is located between 12 and 2 o'clock. Also new is the power-reserve display at 2 o'clock. The movement powering the new Balancier S² is mechanical with manual winding (307 components, 42 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour, 72-hour power reserve), and employs the characteristic 30° inclined balance. The new Balancier S² is available with a rubber strap or a titanium bracelet. Water resistance is guaranteed to an astonishing 10 atmospheres.
