GPHG 2018: the pre-selection of watches

The jury of the 18th Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) has announced the 72 selected watches, divided into 12 categories, which will compete for the 16 prizes of the next Grand Prix, including the prestigious Aguille d'Or, and which you can view on the official website by clicking here link.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Friday 9 November at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva.
The 72 selected watches will be part of a travelling exhibition starting in Venice on 28 September with an event organised at the Arsenale in partnership with BMW Italia. Other stops on the tour in October include Hong Kong and Singapore. On their return to Geneva, the watches will be housed in the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire (MAH) from 1 to 14 November, where the GPHG will organise an exhibition dedicated to watchmaking art and culture. The tour will end in Vienna, where the presentation of the winning watches will be part of an event organised at the Liechtenstein City Palace.
