The new Sixties Chronograph Annual Edition 2021 from Glashütte Original uses a 42-mm steel case surrounding a distinctive dégradé-effect dial, which ranges from bright green in the centre to a darker shade at the edges. The dial itself is protected by a sapphire crystal with an interior and exterior anti-reflective treatment. The movement used is the IWC-manufactured 39-34 calibre (power reserve of around 40 hours, 28,800 vibrations per hour), a mechanical self-winding movement with Glashütte ribbon finishing and a skeleton rotor with a 21-carat gold oscillating weight, visible through the sapphire glass porthole on the case back. On the dial, there are luminescent baton hands, bar and Arabic numerals (at 6 and 9 o'clock) with a luminescent dot, continuous seconds at 3 o'clock, chrono minutes at 9 o'clock and chrono seconds in the centre. The grey-brown nubuck calfskin strap is combined with a steel pin buckle. The new Sixties Chronograph Annual Edition 2021 is available at Glashütte Original boutiques and selected retailers worldwide for a limited period of one year.
