Glashütte Original presents the Senator Cosmopolite, a watch dedicated to travellers. It offers the possibility of simultaneously knowing the time at home and the time in the place where you are, being able to choose from one of 37 world time zones, each of which is indicated by the international IATA code identifying airports around the world. Home time is set in a small dial at 12 o'clock, along with the power reserve indicator; at 9 o'clock is the day/night indicator for your destination, while at 6 and 4 o'clock are the small seconds and the unmistakable panoramic date, respectively. Finally, at 8 o'clock, there are two small windows indicating whether daylight saving time (DST) or solar time (STD) is in effect in the destination zone. Animating it is the new self-winding IWC-manufactured 89-02 calibre, housed in a red or white gold case.
