Inspired by the marine chronometers produced in past eras by Glashütte Original, the Senator Chronometer with its blue grené dial is characterised, like its predecessors, by its optimal legibility entrusted to Roman numeral hour markers, the minute track on the flange and the seconds counter at 6 o'clock. At 12 o'clock, on the other hand, is the indication of the movement's remaining power reserve. Also present is the typical German manufacture large date display, realised through the use of two coaxial and coplanar date discs. At the heart of the watch is the hand-wound manufacture calibre 58-01 (28,800 vibrations per hour, 44-hour power reserve), featuring a zero-setting system and perfect synchronisation of the seconds and minutes hands. It is housed in a 42-mm 18-carat white gold case with a blue Louisiana alligator leather strap.
