The PanoMaticLunar turns 20 years old, and to mark the occasion, the Teutonic manufacturer is offering eight new variants in red gold or steel cases.

Twenty years of PanoMaticLunar: an important milestone for one of the iconic models of Glashütte OriginalIt is characterised by an asymmetrical dial design that, in addition to the hours and minutes, features a small seconds hand positioned on a vertical axis in the left half, while the right half sports the moon phase disc and the characteristic Panoramic Date.

The launch of the PanoMaticLunar in 2003 marked the beginning of a success story that few wristwatch models can boast. For a good 20 years, in fact, this watch has been one of the best known and most popular models from Glashütte Original.

Four red gold versions are now available, and as many in steel, with a dial in dark green, deep blue, silver, black or grey, and a matching strap in Louisiana alligator leather, steel or fabric.

All variants share a 40 mm case and an automatic movement, Calibre 90-02 (28,800 vibrations per hour, 47 jewels, skeletonised rotor, personalised with ribbon decoration and 21-carat gold oscillating weight, blued screws, ¾ plate, hand-engraved balance bridge), with a 42-hour power reserve and refined finishing visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
