Glashütte Original presents the new PanoLunarTourbillon, a watch produced in a limited edition of just 25 pieces that combines the highest levels of craftsmanship and technical complexity with an unmistakable design. The PanoLunarTourbillon is a re-edition of a model presented by the Saxon company in 2013: elaborate engravings decorate the galvanic silvered surface of the dial and the back of the movement. These filigree decorations testify to the rich traditions of Glashütte watchmaking and give each watch an unmistakable character of uniqueness. On the same dial, the flying tourbillon device with the small seconds is positioned on the left-hand side. The moon phase disc with a midnight blue sky and a panoramic date display, typical of the brand, enrich the right side. The skeleton hour and minute hands, hour markers and blued steel tip of the seconds hand add a few touches of blue. All dial side engravings are made in the Glashütte Original dial manufactory in Pforzheim. The PanoLunarTourbillon, with its 40 mm platinum case, is powered by the IWC-manufactured calibre 93-12, a self-winding mechanical movement with a 48-hour power reserve. The off-centre skeleton rotor has a 21-carat gold oscillating weight. Gold-plated words 'Flying Tourbillon' are engraved on a screw-mounted steel decorative plate. The watch is completed by a blue Louisiana alligator leather strap with a platinum folding clasp.
