Glashütte Original enriches the Senator collection with two new additions: the Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase with a silver and copper-coloured dial.
The new Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase make explicit reference to design elements already present in the archives of Glashütte Original of the 19th and 20th centuries, reinterpreting them with a modern twist. The new dials, available in elegant silver or copper tones, recall the rich mineral deposits of the Ore Mountains, while the characteristic finely grené surface wants to transmit the feeling of intense cold inside the rock.
The hand-applied Roman numerals, made of solid gold and coated in blue, blend perfectly with the refined blued poire hands and the seconds sphere, with a counterweight in the shape of a double 'G'.
The famous double-window panoramic date positioned at 4 o'clock and the elegant moon phase between 10 and 11 o'clock with a curved window complete the displays. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal that is anti-reflective on both sides.
The polished and satin-finished steel case with a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 12.2 mm is also a functional 'container'. An innovative bayonet coupling, Indeed, it allows the movement to be attached to the case itself with a simple rotation, similar to the way a camera lens is attached to a camera. This makes the watch particularly shock-resistant and facilitates future maintenance, ensuring the long-term preservation and care of the timepiece.

These two new watches use the Glashütte Original 36-24 calibre.

Each watch must pass rigorous tests lasting 24 consecutive days. In addition, this manufactory-made automatic movement (visible through the sapphire crystal on the case back) features Glashütte's traditional hand-crafted watchmaking finishing and decoration. These new Senators are available with a blue Louisiana alligator strap, a synthetic fabric strap or a steel bracelet. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 5 atmospheres.
