Celebrating the art of skeletonisation is the new Senator Moon Phase Skeleton from Glashütte Original, dedicated to lovers of fine watchmaking. The special feature of this model is its skeleton dial with rhodium-plated finish, which allows one to admire not only the blue and gold moon-phase disc or the power-reserve indicator but also the underlying mechanism, protected by a double anti-reflective glass: the hand-wound IWC-manufactured 49-13 calibre, equipped with components decorated with free-hand engravings, decorated winding wheels with double spiral and gold bezels secured to the plate by blued screws. The movement bears the individual number of the limited edition (100 pieces in all), perfectly matching the number engraved on the case. Equipped with a Louisiana alligator strap fastened with a gold folding clasp, the elegant timepiece is delivered to its owner inside a refined dark wood case.
