Frederique Constant presents a new limited edition of the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture, featuring an intriguing shade of green.
The latest version of the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture by Frederique Constant is distinguished by its exclusivity. Only 150 individually numbered examples are available. La 39 mm diameter by 11 mm thick steel case is combined with a green dial with sunburst finish and a matching alligator strap. The steel buckle is of the folding type.
Inside beats the self-winding FC-980-4 calibre (28,800 vibrations per hour, 38-hour power reserve), entirely developed and assembled by Frederique Constant. This movement, visible from the caseback side, is equipped with the escapement and still made of silicon. In addition, the FC-980-4 calibre sports the decorations and finishes such as anglage, perlage and cerclage. The sides are straight-grained and the other surfaces have a mirror polish.
The dark palm-green dial with its soleil finish is a bold choice in the tourbillon category, traditionally characterised by more classic shades. Facetted hour markers and hand-polished hands testify to the attention to detail, while continuous seconds are indicated on the tourbillon cage. The tourbillon itself (as well as the case back) bears the progressive number of the limited edition.
