The new Slimline Ladies Moonphase by Frederique Constant has a classically-inspired design. It features a 30 mm diameter by 7.65 mm thick steel case that is guaranteed water-resistant to 3 atmospheres, combined with an opaline dial. On the latter are facetted leaf hands and applied bar hour markers (at 12 o'clock there is an Arabic numeral index), as well as a minute track scale. At 6 o'clock, there are the moon phases, controlled (as are the hour and minute hands) by a state-of-the-art quartz movement, calibre FC-206, whose battery lasts an astonishing five years. Another retro-inspired element is the onion-shaped crown, set with a blue sapphire cabochon. Worthy of note is the domed sapphire crystal protecting the dial. The Slimline Ladies Moonphase is available with a blue calfskin strap with a "quick change" system that allows it to be changed quickly, or with a five-link steel bracelet.
Prices: 890 euros (with steel bracelet); 790 euros (with calfskin strap).
