IWC Schaffhausen took part in the 'Laureus Sport For Good Ride' along the Franco-Italian Riviera at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Munich. Led by two-time Olympic champion cyclist Fabian Cancellara together with IWC CEO Christoph Grainger-Herr, the participants raised funds for Laureus projects with every kilometre covered during the bike ride. Before the sports stars and other celebrities attended the award ceremony at the Sporting Monte-Carlo, two new members of the Laureus World Sports Academy were presented: football legends Francesco Totti and Ryan Giggs. The two champions were presented with an IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII Edition 'Laureus Sport for Good Foundation'. Since 1999, Laureus Sport for Good has harnessed the power of sport to create a promising future for disadvantaged children, supporting more than 100 sports projects in 35 countries.
