Campania Watchmaking Fair 2024

The second edition of the Fiera dell'Orologeria Campana (Watchmaking Fair of Campania) took place on 25 and 26 May and was attended by around 4,000 enthusiasts.

The second edition of the Fiera dell'Orologeria Campana ended on 26 May, event promoted by Adoc2022, an association founded a year and a half ago and dedicated to the world of vintage watches. The event attracted around 4,000 visitors, confirming it as a major event in the industry. The event was held at the atmospheric Reggia di Portici, monumental palace and summer residence of the Bourbon royal family Numerous independent Italian watch brands participated.

These included the names of Venezianico, Ichnos, Allemano, CN Milano, Memphis Belle, Echo/neutra. And again, Mondia, Officine Tecniche, Perseo, Tempistica, D1 Milano, Vertigo and Elmà, to name but a few. Alongside them, there were also wineries, artists and Neapolitan haute couture. There were also some 40 stalls dedicated to vintage watches, offering a wide range of historical and collectors' items.

During the event, which gave visitors the opportunity to interface with the designers and exhibitors, the Carolina Bonaparte Prize was awarded (named after the first woman to wear a wristwatch). This award is intended to recognise the technical management skills, entrepreneurial talent and artistic and cultural sensitivity of women who have distinguished themselves in watchmaking.
