Water-resistant to 100 metres, the Octo Finissimo Automatic is equipped with the BVL 138 calibre just 2.23 mm thick and with a 60-hour power reserve. It is on sale at €48,700.
Gold also for the Bulgari Bulgari, the watch that more than any other in the Roman company's vast production has been able to resist imperturbably the changing fashions of the moment. What has remained unchanged is its identity as a "timeless classic", which has been sewn onto it since the very first example in 1975, and which bears the name "Bulgari" engraved twice on the bezel.
The current version, which also retains unchanged the use of numerical indices at 6 and 12 o'clock on the dial and the harmonious shape of the lugs, which are perfectly integrated into the strap, uses yellow gold combined with a black dial or pink gold combined instead with a silver-plated opaline dial.
Available in a 26 mm quartz version (€9,000), which lends the ensemble an eye-catching jewellery-watch aura, and in a more modern 38 mm version (€14,500), which, thanks to an opening in the case back, reveals the gears and finishing of the BVL 191 in-house automatic calibre.
