The new Historiador Cronógrafo 1946 is a tribute to the launch year of the successful Historiador collection, one of the best-sellers of Cuervo y Sobrinos. The 'panda' type dial has a salmon-coloured background, against which the tobacco-coloured supplementary counters stand out, reserved for the chrono minutes (at 3 o'clock) and continuous seconds (at 9 o'clock).
Also on the dial, protected by a double-curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal, are the three-dimensional applied Arabic numerals, leaf-shaped hands and peripheral tachymeter scale.
The 40 mm by 12 mm polished steel case is guaranteed water-resistant to 5 atmospheres. It houses the CyS 8123 calibre (based on ETA 2094, 23.9 mm diameter, 5.5 mm thick, 33 jewels, 28,800 vib/h, 42-hour power reserve), with blued screws, circular-grained bridges and decorated and personalised rotor. The movement is visible thanks to the porthole on the caseback, closed by 4 screws.
Produced in a limited edition of only 100 pieces numbered on the caseback, the new Historiador Cronógrafo 1946 from Cuervo y Sobrinos is combined with a matt chocolate-coloured Louisiana crocodile strap with a personalised steel folding clasp.
