Launched in 2019, Perrelet's Weekend collection consists of three-ball or GMT-function models, always animated by in-house automatic mechanical movements. The 39 mm diameter by less than 10 mm thick (9.56 mm to be precise) case is made of steel and is also available with rose gold PVD treatment. For the steel models, one can opt for a black calfskin strap or a steel bracelet, while those with a PVD-treated case are combined with a calfskin strap.
New this year is the adoption of the new bright green dials (which join the more classic black, silveré or blue shades), satin-finished and with a soleil finish.
The 3 Hands model has a date window at 3 o'clock, and the GMT model additionally offers a second time zone function by means of an additional hand in the centre of the dial with a red triangular tip.
Calibre P-321 equips the Weekend 3 Hands (25 jewels, 28,800 vib/h, 42-hour power reserve) and the P-401 (25 jewels, 28,800 vib/h, 42-hour power reserve) GMT model.
Both have perlage-decorated bridges and a personalised openworked oscillating weight, visible through the mineral glass on the case back. With anti-reflective sapphire crystal protecting the dial, the new Weekend by Perrelet are water-resistant to 5 atmospheres.
