Citizen presents the new Series 8, comprising three references, all powered by automatic mechanical movements: 830 (pictured), 831 and 870. These new watches are equipped with the calibre 0950 (for the 830 and 870 models) and 9051 (for the 831 model), characterised by resistance to magnetic fields. Calibre 0950 (28,800 vibrations per hour, 24 jewels, thickness par to just 4.1 mm), used on the Series 8 with reference 830 visible in the photo, guarantees a power reserve of around 50 hours and an accuracy of -5/+10 seconds per day. With their modern and dynamic style, the Series 8 timepieces are suitable for any occasion, from work to leisure and informal settings. The case features a contemporary design with clean, smooth lines, giving rise to a minimalist aesthetic. The 830 Series 8 model is distinguished by the aesthetic freshness of its dial, which combines several levels (there are three in total), one of which is made of a metal mesh, overlapping another in mother-of-pearl. The result is a dial that is both innovative and elegant. The steel case has a diameter of 40 mm, for a thickness of 11.7 (for the 830 model), and is fitted with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal to protect the dial. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 10 atmospheres. The Italian market launch of these new Citizen models is scheduled for August and September 2021.
