Italian skier Christof Innerhofer (winner of the Super-G World Cup in 2011, an Olympic silver medal in the downhill and a bronze medal in the super combined in Sochi 2014) was recently announced by Chronoswiss as the brand's new testimonial. "I like to be different from others and this is why I love Chronoswiss. Its watches are very particular in their style, just like the way I ski. That's why the SkelTec fits me like a glove," Innerhofer himself said. Oliver Ebstein, CEO of Chronoswiss (an independent family-owned company), for his part, said: "Christof is not only a fantastic skier, he is also hungry for knowledge, is friendly and has an empathetic personality. On the Italian champion's wrist is the SkelTec by Chronoswiss, in a version with a 45 mm steel case with black DLC treatment and combined with 18-carat rose gold elements (bezel, onion crown and lug screws). The skeleton movement is visible both on the dial side (protected by a curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal) and on the back side (with a porthole in smoked sapphire crystal): it is the calibre C.304 (21 jewels, 28,800 vibrations per hour, power reserve of about 48 hours), mechanical with manual winding. Produced in a limited edition of 50 pieces and water-resistant to a pressure of 5 atmospheres, this SkelTec by Chronoswiss is priced at €21,900.
