Limited edition of 100 pieces for the L.U.C XPS Spirit of Nature watch, created by the Chopard Manufacture workshops and the fruit of the Maison's ethical process. The Fairmined-certified 18-carat pink gold case (gold extracted in a responsible manner within artisanal concerns that respect miners and the environment) surrounds a green dial with a leaf motif obtained by stamping. Even the strap is respectful of nature: the alligator skin is Cites certified, which stands for the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora. This protocol aims to prevent the commercial exploitation of endangered wild species. Furthermore, the tanning is entirely vegetable-based, made from the bark of trees such as oak or hazelnut, and chromium-free. The deep green colours of the visible side and cognac of the lining side are supported by dark green stitching on both sides. Animating the L.U.C XPS Spirit of Nature is the ultra-thin L.U.C 96.12-L automatic calibre, so thin that the watch is only 7.2 mm thick. It is wound by an engraved 22-carat gold micro-rotor powering two superposed barrels according to Chopard's patented Twin Technology architecture, which together guarantee 65 hours of winding.
