Dedicated to modern travellers, the new Octo Roma Worldtimer from Bulgari allows for the instantaneous reading of 24 time zones. The watch, offered in a 41 mm case in polished/satin-finished steel or sand-blasted black DLC, is powered by the new in-house integrated calibre named 261 (33 mm in diameter, 6.03 mm thick, 28,800 vibrations per hour, 26 jewels, 42-hour power reserve), a self-winding mechanical movement visible from the back. On the dial (blue or black, depending on the version), there are facetted Dauphine hands and applied Arabic numeral and bar hour markers; around the perimeter, there is a double rotating disc, one for the 24 reference cities and another with a 24-hour graduated scale, useful for reading the 24 world time zones. The functions are adjusted using the crown, first setting the city of the chosen time zone at 12 o'clock, and then setting the time until the hour and minute hands indicate the exact time in the selected time zone, taking care to match the 24-hour indicator to the chosen time zone. The watch is combined with a steel bracelet with a folding clasp for the polished/satin-finished steel case version and a textured rubber strap for the black DLC-coated steel version. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 10 atmospheres.
