Bulgari: the new flagship store in Via Montenapoleone

Bulgari inaugurates its new flagship store on Via Montenapoleone in Milan, and announces a major patronage initiative in support of the Museo del Novecento.

Bulgari opened a new flagship store at number 2 Via Montenapoleone, in the heart of Milan's luxury district, characterised by an interweaving of the Maison's Roman inspirations and the distinctive elements of Milanese architecture.

In addition, as part of the initiatives designed to celebrate the opening of the new boutiquethe Bulgari Foundation and the City of Milan have joined forces to announce the promotion of a major patronage project, the first in the Lombard capital, in favour of the Museo del Novecento. This testifies to the brand's commitment to creating lasting value in the fields of art and patronage, education, philanthropy and the transmission of savoir-faire.

Doing the honours was Laura Burdese, Deputy CEO of Bulgari, together with the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala and Matteo Morbidi, General Director of the Bulgari Foundation. Benjamin Beaufils, General Manager Europe, Renato Munafò, General Manager Italy and Turkey, and Satù Fatì, Director of the flagship store in Via Montenapoleone, also attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new flagship store covers an area of 750 square metres.

The new boutique Milanese Bulgari is inside the historic Palazzetto Taverna Radice Fossati, a neoclassical masterpiece designed by Ferdinando Albertolli in 1835, and is spread over three floors, totalling 750 square metres.

Roman inspirations, the foundation of Bulgari's iconic identity, and Milan's architectural heritage guide the interior design, which features works by Luca Pignatelli and Fabio Viale, artists known for their ability to combine the classical with the contemporary, and which comes to life thanks to the work of some of the greatest Made in Italy craftsmanship excellence, including Venini and Barovier&Toso in the field of glassware, Pictalab in the field of decoration, Damiani and Musiva for marble and Rubelli for textiles.

In addition, for this special occasion the Bulgari flagship store hosts, for the first time in the Lombard capital, "Tubogas & Beyond'', a selection of Tubogas creations and other iconic jewellery from Bulgari's historic collection. It is a tale of the fascinating history of a timeless icon of the Maison, exploring the evolution of its most distinctive designs, and visitable until 29 June.
