Since June, the works of the finalists of the MAXXI Bulgari Prize 2018, which aims to promote young talent in contemporary art, have been on display at MAXXI in Rome, in an exhibition curated by Giulia Ferracci. The new partnership between Bulgari and the Museum and the three finalists of the Prize, chosen by an international jury, were presented last October at the Bulgari Hotel in London, during Frieze Art Fair week, by Giovanna Melandri, President of the Fondazione MAXXI, and Nicola Bulgari, Vice President of the Bulgari Group.
Next October, the jury will decide on the winner, whose work will be acquired by the museum. The finalists are: Talia Chetrit (1982, lives and works in New York), Invernomuto (Simone Bertuzzi, 1983 and Simone Trabucchi, 1982, live and work between Vernasca, in the province of Piacenza, and Milan) and Diego Marcon (1985, lives and works in Paris).
