Breil presents the new Fiamme Oro chronograph, produced in a limited edition of 470 pieces to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the State Police sports groups.
It is called Fiamme Oro the new chronograph by Breil, fruit of the lucky collaboration between the brand and the State Police. Available in only 470 examples, it is a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the famous sports group competing in all international competitions.
Not by chance, the dial displays a crimson colouring, typical of the Gold Flames together with gold and blue. This tone is also echoed on the aluminium bezel with tachymeter scale. The progressive number of the limited edition, for its part, is engraved on the case back.
On the occasion of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Golden Flames are represented by no less than 100 athletes (48 men and 52 women), approximately 30% of the 357-strong Italian delegation.
Breil Fiamme Oro chronograph: homage to the State Police
The new Fiamme Oro chronograph is produced in only 470 pieces.
Note the blue seconds hand, a tribute to the police corps, and the Gold Flames emblem engraved on the case back and buckle folding clasp on the five-link bracelet. The latter is in steel, as is the 43 mm case housing the YM12 quartz calibre, of Japanese production.
On the dial (protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal), the symbol of the State Police's Flying Squad (the famous 'panther') is located at 12 o'clock. The additional counters are placed in the canonical positions at 3, 6 and 9. Between 4 and 5, the date window opens and water resistance is guaranteed up to the pressure of 10 atmospheres (100 metres).
Finally, then example of the Fiamme Oro chronograph with the limited edition number '70' was donated by Simone Binda, CEO of Binda Italia, to Francesco Montini, Director of the Inspectorate for Assistance, Social, Sports and Logistical Support of the State Police. The delivery took place at an event held in Rome, in the presence of a representation of the athletes of the Fiamme Oro sports group.
