An ultra-thin calibre, the automatic 581 measuring a mere 3 millimetres, with which the House has been demonstrating great mechanical savoir-faire for some years now, with its peripheral oscillating weight and tourbillon cage completely redesigned for maximum subtlety. In its latest skeleton version (calibre 581SQ), Breguet raises the bar of technical virtuosity, removing almost 50% of component material in the new Classique Tourbillon Extra-Plat Squelette 5395. A challenge that also brings into play handcrafted finishes and decorations such as engraving, guillochage and anglage. All of this is housed in a case with a box-shaped sapphire crystal, which brings the total thickness of the watch to 7.7 millimetres, slightly more than the previous versions precisely because of the type of glass used. It is available in rose gold or platinum.
