Baume & Mercier presents two new Hamptons dedicated to women, with steel or 18-carat rose gold cases.
Baume & Mercier presents two new female versions of the Hampton, with 35 x 22.2 mm cases. Since its debut in 1994, the Hampton collection has marked an aesthetic turning point in shaped watchmaking.
Inspired by an iconic 1960s model and the Art Deco style of the 1920s, the rectangular case with rounded corners became instantly recognisable. This design, with its formal and elegant balance, has allowed for many variations over the years, while always maintaining its distinctive identity.
The new Hampton with Ref. M0A10752 and M0A10751 are both powered by a quartz movement. In particular, the Hampton M0A10752 sports an 18-carat rose gold case, combined with a black alligator strap with a gold Pvd pin buckle. The case back is made of titanium, and can be personalised.
The Hampton M0A10751, for its part, features a steel case with an integrated three-row bracelet that alternates between steel and rose gold-plated steel links, resuming a historical two-tone combination for the maison. In this case, the back is in steel.
Baume & Mercier: two new female Hamptons
Both powered by a quartz movement, the new models use a case measuring 35 x 22.2 mm and 6.9 mm thick.
The two new Hamptons from Baume & Mercier share first-rate finishes that testify to the meticulous work of the company's craftsmen: Silver-coloured opaline grainé dial, Arabic numerals at 6 and 12 o'clock, riveted hour markers and gilded sword-shaped hands. The dials are protected by a curved sapphire crystal. The gold-plated Pvd steel crown is embellished with a black agate, stone symbolising inner strength.
These Hamptons are powered by Swiss Made quartz movements with an 8-year autonomy and guarantee water resistance to 5 atmospheres (about 50 metres). Thanks to a system of straight pivot bars, the strap and bracelet are easily interchangeable, without the need for tools.
