Zenith returns to the theme of the great explorer Christopher Columbus by presenting the prestigious Academy Christophe Colomb Hurricane Grand Voyage II, equipped with three very exclusive complications such as the Gravity Control, the chain transmission (connected to the barrel guarantees a constant force, thus positively affecting precision) and the high-frequency balance, oscillating at 36,000 vibrations per hour. Made in only 10 pieces, this timepiece also features handmade gold elements attached to the movement, as well as a fine micro-painting visible on the caseback side and other hand-engraved elements. The movement used is the Zenith El Primero 8805 calibre (354 components excluding the chain drive, 53 jewels, power reserve of at least 50 hours), mechanical with manual winding. The 45-millimetre-diameter case is made of 18-carat rose gold.
